Let's Go Circular | Intermediate Level (X010) is an Enrichment Programme Unit for students taking one or more of the following subjects: Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Computing, Information Technology, Maths and Physics.

Duration and frequency of sessions
Typically 2-4 hours per week. The programme shall take place over a maximum of eight weeks

Proposed day and time
This unit is offered during the first semester. Some sessions shall be held on Wednesday at 14:00, other sessions will take place individually or as a small team as indicated during the sessions. Some sessions will be held online.

Maximum marks possibly earned in this EPU: 10 marks
Further details
Students registered in this unit must work in a team. There will be two parts to the unit: first introductory modules followed by the intermediate modules. The description is as follows.
- Introductory Modules:

- i) Introduction to Online Safety and Etiquette
- ii) Introduction to the circular economy
- Intermediate level Modules:

- i) Metals and the Circular Economy
- ii) Rethinking Plastics
- iii) Fashion and the Circular Economy
- iv) A circular economy for smartphones and electronic devices
The above modules will be delivered through several hands-on activities including but not limited to the following:
- research
- group discussion
- observation
- inquiry-based learning
- idea generation and implementation
- digital content creation
- self-assessment.
Additional benefits
- A certificate of participation will be awarded to those who attend all the sessions
- Students may opt to proceed to the Advanced and Expert after completing this unit.
- May be used as an SOK project subject to the approval of the SOK Coordinator.
Conditions
- A minimum of 3 students is required to run the unit.
- Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
- Parts of the unit are self-led and some sessions will be held online.
