Manga Club

Manga Club (K012) is an Enrichment Programme Unit for students who would like to involve themselves in discussions and activities which centre around Japanese Otaku Culture, which includes anime, manga and cosplay.

This EPU is also aimed towards students interested in learning more about different aspects of Japanese Culture. 

 

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this unit, students should be able to:

  • be more open towards different cultures and learn how to appreciate them
  • know how to collaborate with others in different types of activities
  • know more about Manga, Anime and Cosplay
  • produce demonstrations through stands and exhibitions on Japanese Culture and Calligraphy
  • organise events, games and team building activities.

Students will be expected to:

  • attend regularly and actively the weekly meetings
  • involve themselves in the exhibitions
  • involve themselves in the outreach activities and Ħolqa International Youth Arts Festival.

Additional benefits

  • May be used as part of an SOK project provided it is approved by the SOK Coordinator.
  • May help you make new contacts in the field.

  • Student registration is online through the JC Website.
  • Students should show commitment by regular active participation.
