JC Annual Soirée

JC Annual Soirée (K008) is an Enrichment Programme Unit for students who love theatre.

Further details

In this unit students will learn what constitutes the process to create a performance for Soirée. Students will be involved in the various aspects of performance: actors, singers, dancers, script writing, costume making/caring, makeup, lights, sound, props making etc.

This is a Teatru Kulleġġ production and the following criteria need to be adhered to by each student:

  • Punctuality
  • Discipline
  • Attendance
  • Collaboration
  • Adaptability
  • Pro-activity

Students need to be committed to such a project.

Students need to practice beyond the rehearsal schedule. 

The rehearsal process is estimated to be about 40 hours long stretching over four months (from October to February). The production week commitment is estimated to be about 40 hours long in the week proceeding the performances.

Conditions

  • Student registration is by audition.
  • Students who miss more than three rehearsal sessions will be asked to leave the production.
