Print-Making & Experimental Techniques (K006) is an Enrichment Programme Unit for students who love art, design and creativity.

 

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this unit, students should be able to:

  • learn about different printing techniques - mono printing, relief printing, mixed-media printing; linocut and woodcut
  • appreciate master artists who use printing as their medium
  • master the use of specific tools and materials for printmaking
  • create original works from various printing techniques.

Further details

Students enrolling to this EPU are expected to fully engage in the hands on printmaking activities during the workshops and beyond. Towards the end of the unit, a collective exhibition which displays their work will be curated by their EPU coordinator. 

 

Additional benefits

May be used part of an SOK project provided that the students seek the approval of the SOK Coordinator and attend all the sessions - an SOK project requires a minimum of 20 hours.

Student registration is on a first come first served basis.

 

Registration/Participation fees 

No registration fees are required, however students are to buy their personal tools and materials.
