Marketing in Practice

Marketing in Practice (C008) is an Enrichment Programme Unit for students studying marketing at all levels and all those who will come in contact with clients in their future jobs and professional carriers.

This unit is also of particular interest to students taking other business subjects. All students interested in this unit are welcome to join.

 

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this unit, students should be able to:

  • better understand the role of Marketing and that of practitioners in the field
  • get more examples of marketing in practice, supporting and building on the examples discussed in class
  • get a better understanding of the role of marketing in society.

Maximum marks possibly earned in this EPU: 5 marks 

 

Further details

The unit involves an introductory session, eight presentations by Marketing/Business practitioners/guest speakers and a final evaluation session.

Motivation and commitment expected out of all participants.

Students who join are expected to attend and interact.

Participants are expected to provide feedback and an evaluation of the programme.


Additional benefits

Exposure to practical examples related to marketing and business which can be used by Business students in essays/assignments/examinations.
