The following courses will be offered by the Junior College during academic year 2025/26.
Target
JC will be offering practical sessions in Advanced Matriculation Biology/Chemistry/Physics for applicants who:
- are not registered at an educational institution and therefore have no access to laboratory facilities
OR
- are not studying the respective subject at an educational institution
OR
- are 18 years old by December 2025.
Objective
The four separate practical courses focus on experimental sessions in Advanced Matriculation Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

General Information
Each session will focus on practical aspects.
Sessions will be held as follows:
- Biology Practicals – coursework preparation and Papers III and IV practice: Wednesday
- Biology Practicals – preparation for Paper IV: Tuesday
- Chemistry Practicals: Thursday
- Physics Practicals: Monday
The JC reserves the right to change the days indicated if required.

Conditions
- These courses are offered subject to a minimum number of students applying.
- Students attending these practical courses are expected to abide by the rules and conditions which apply to full-time students, including the Student Code of Behaviour.
- Students are expected to be punctual and attend all practical sessions for which they are registered.
Fees
- An non-refundable registration fee of EUR 23.30 applies.
- The fee for Biology Practicals – practical workbook preparation and Papers III and IV practice, Chemistry Practicals and Physics Practicals, is €450 and full payment must be made within a week from acceptance.
- The fee for Biology Practicals – preparation for Paper IV, is €375 and full payment must be made within a week from acceptance.
- Refund of the course fee only applies in case the course in question is not held.
