Exploring the European Union: How it Works and Why it Matters (C026) is an Enrichment Programme Unit for students who are interested in politics, history, debates, current events and the EU.

Students are expected to actively participate in lectures, group discussions, debates, and simulation games exploring EU history, institutions, laws, and values and contributing to Europe Day events, and attending educational visits to EU offices in Valletta and the University of Malta, fostering deeper understanding and active citizenship in the EU context.
The sessions shall be typically divided as follows:
- 6 x 2hr session: information and activity sessions at Junior College
- 4 x 2hr session: Visits and events outside Junior College
