Booking Terms & Conditions

Bookings can be made up to a week in advance, and will be confirmed upon payment.

No refunds are given for missed sessions.

Payment links not paid within 48 hours will expire. 

Tennis sessions cancelled due to the rain are carried forward, and are to be rescheduled within 4 weeks of the initial booking.

Throughout the duration of this booking, the JC shall retain the right to oppose or impede the entry of any Person to the Precinct or the use thereof by any Person at any time.

Tenants using the sport facilities shall not affect any changes and/or alterations of any kind (including structural) to the Precinct or any part thereof. 

The JC, the University of Malta and its companies are not responsible, whether individually or collectively, for any theft or damage to a Person’s property as well as personal injuries (including death) caused to any Person. The Tenant shall indemnify and hold the JC, the University of Malta and its companies harmless against any claims whatsoever concerning such damages and injuries.

Parking on the JC Precinct by Persons for the purpose of attending a Session, may be allowed after office hours, provided that relevant parking regulations are abided by and that no vehicles are left on the Precinct overnight.

Tenants are not allowed to enter any part of the JC building for any reason.

In the event that the Tenant or any Person damages the Precinct or any part thereof, such damages (including all related expenses and costs) shall be made good in full by the Tenant, which hereby undertakes to affect all necessary repairs and to inform the competent authorities of the JC, without delay, upon such contingency. 

The Tenant shall be responsible for the cleaning of the Facility/ies at the end of each Session and shall leave the Facility/ies clean, tidy and in a good state of repair after every use. 

The Tenant is prohibited from putting up, displaying or installing any promotional material related to the Tenant or any other entities including clubs and nurseries, sponsors or other third parties within the JC Precincts, and is prohibited from conducting any commercial activity on/at the Precincts.

Each Party (“the indemnitor”) hereby irrevocably indemnifies and holds harmless and agrees to keep indemnified and to hold harmless the other Party (referred to as “the indemnitee” and which, in the case of the JC, also includes the University of Malta and its companies) from and against any and all liability, loss, damage, harm, costs or expenses howsoever arising which the indemnitee may suffer, incur or sustain as a result of any breach, unlawful act, wilful misconduct or negligence of the indemnitor arising out of or in connection with the relationship established under these terms and conditions except to the extent that any such  liability, loss, damage, harm, costs or expense arises from the indemnitee’s  breach, unlawful act, wilful misconduct or negligence. The indemnity given under this provision shall survive the expiry or termination of these terms and conditions:

Provided that neither Party shall be liable for failure to perform any of its obligations under these terms and conditions in the event that such failure arises by reason of force majeure. Provided further that the Party affected by the force majeure shall inform the other Party as soon as possible of the force majeure and shall take reasonable steps to mitigate or remove the effects of the force majeure on the performance of its obligations under these terms and conditions. Provided further that the acts or omissions of the Persons shall not be construed as events beyond the reasonable control of the Tenant.
