The Department of Creative Arts and Design at Ġ.F. Abela, Junior College is presenting a series of introductory workshops in the fundamentals of Graphical Communications. The aim is to prepare prospective students for preliminary material necessary to embark on courses in the subject at Intermediate and Advanced level.

The workshops are targeted for 14-16 year olds who intend to take Graphical Communication at Advanced level or Graphical Communication and Engineering Drawing at Intermediate Level at Junior College.    

When? Every Tuesday (7 July - 15 September 2026) with a break during Santa Maria week.

Where? Design Studio (DB22), Junior College.

What time? 09:20-11:30 

The registration fee of EUR170 for the workshops has to be carried out online through the website payment gateway portal (scroll down for link). 

The registration fee covers the following:

• registration for the workshop series
• basic design tools (a list of art supplies will be sent to applicants closer to commencement date).

Registration closing date is Friday 3 July 2026 (extended from Friday 26 June 2026).
