Maltese Economy in practice

Maltese Economy in Practice (C027) is an Enrichment Programme Unit for students in the business and IT area and all those who want to be more critically minded and better voters.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this unit, students should be able to:

  • relate economic theory to real-world practice
  • analyse contemporary economic issues critically
  • interpret and evaluate economic data
  • understand the roles and functions of key economic institutions
  • assess the impact of economic policies/decisions
  • recognise diverse career pathways related to economics
  • demonstrate greater civic and economic literacy.
