Every year, the College opens its doors to give the public and prospective students the opportunity to get a sense of what College life is like and to present a wide range of useful information on the subjects and programmes offered.
On the day, visitors also have the opportunity to visit the College Campus, view the facilities and resources, meet the administration and other members of staff and find out more about studying at the Junior College. This activity is very useful to prospective students as it helps them to make informed decisions.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year the Open Day programme had to be reduced to a set of meetings in order to conform with the COVID-19 mitigation measures in place. During the meetings that were held on 18 March 2022, Mr Paul Xuereb, the Junior College Principal, explained the new entry requirements and the study programmes of the Junior College and also described the College facilities available to all the students on a daily basis. After the meetings, the attendees had the opportunity to ask their questions to the University of Malta and Junior College Advisory Team.
The Junior College is hoping to be able to hold the Open Day in its usual grand manner in 2023.
