What is eSIMS JC?

eSIMS JC is the University of Malta - Junior College portal available to students, academic and administrative staff.  It enables them to view information and perform various tasks online.  The word eSIMS stands for Electronic Student Information Management System. University of Malta - Junior College students may use the portal for:

•    Viewing messages via eSIMS intray
•    Viewing/updating personal details
•    Viewing registered course details
•    Viewing Assessment Marks
•    Viewing End-of-Year Test & Re-sits Marks

Academic and Administrative Staff also use eSIMS JC for various tasks such as contacting students by subject.

New tasks are continually being added on eSIMS so that information is made available for the better convenience of the end user.

Who has access to eSIMS and how is access obtained?

University of Malta Junior College students, academic and administrative personnel all have access to the portal.  To login, open your web browser and visit and use the user name and password provided by IT Services to login.

I forgot my username and/or password. What should I do?

You need to contact support staff at IT Services or you can check your User Identification and/or reset your password by following this link.

By clicking on the above link, you will be able to reset your password and activate your IT Services account.  SIMS Office staff is unable to deal with queries regarding username and passwords.

I do not have access to the Internet and thus cannot complete tasks online. Can I do it manually?

Online tasks cannot be performed on a paper form. If you do not have access to the Internet at home, you may access the Internet through computers available at the Junior College, situated in the second floor.
